چکیده

To date, the effect of habitat conditions on characteristics pollen has not been extensively investigated; however, it needs to be remembered that may highly significant for quality their generative reproduction success. It was decided conduct analyses Convallaria majalis as a common species, naturally found in many different forest habitats. Moreover, investigations covered morphology and first time also variability grains this species. The plant material came from 98 natural sites located Poland, nine differing In total, 2940 were analyzed terms five quantitative features (i.e., length longest shortest polar axes–LA SA, exine thickness–Ex, LA/SA Ex/LA ratios) well following qualitative ones: outline shape, sulcus type ornamentation. Determination of progesterone in vegetative organs and cell organelles of Convallaria majalis L. by radioimmunoassay.

Progesterone was extracted from leaves and subterranean parts of Convallaria majalis L. and quantified by radioimmunoassay. During the stage of flowering the content of progesterone in rhizomes was by a factor of four higher than in leaves and by a factor of ten higher than in roots, whereas five weeks later the level of progesterone was unchanged in rhizomes and roots but was elevated in the l...
